Annalissa C. Ward

Annalissa C. Ward graduated with distinction from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law with in 2006. While attending law school she worked as a law clerk for Jon York and Associates. She joined the firm as a practicing attorney in November 2006.

In law school she was awarded membership into the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society for academic excellence. She was named the Witkin Award recipient in 2004 for ranking first in Contract Law. She worked under the direction of contract law scholar Claude Rohwer as a research assistant for the sixth edition of his book, Contracts in a Nutshell, which is currently used as a supplemental text by law students throughout the United States.

While in law school Annalissa was awarded a grant from McGeorge’s Public Legal Student Services to work for a Legal Aid Clinic in Visalia California. There she worked predominantly in landlord/tenant and contract law.

Annalissa received her B.A. in Political Science and Woman’s Studies from Humboldt State University in 2003. As a student at Humboldt State she served as director of the campus Women’s Center and acted as a guest lecturer in various Political Science and Woman’s Studies courses on legal issues related to the GLBT community.
